Job summary

Allied Universal Services seeks a Professional Security Shift Supervisor to supervise and coordinate quality security services on a specific shift at a client site. The role serves as a liaison between the site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager, and officers, guiding staff, delivering coaching, and ensuring post orders are followed.

Pay rate is $17.00 per hour with Monday through Friday shifts.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; professional demeanor with all levels of personnel and the public.
• Ability to prepare written reports and logs in neat handwriting.
• Ability to read and understand operating procedures and instructions.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local law.
• Drivers: valid license, clean driving record, and required insurance; ability to operate a vehicle.
• Background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol testing may be required.
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client sites.
• Ability to handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage security personnel: assign tasks, delegate duties, monitor performance.
• Conduct daily briefings with the team.
• Respond to incidents and notify authorities/clients as needed.
• Monitor security systems and perform regular patrols to identify breaches.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds completed.
• File required reports and logs.
• Interview, hire, and train security staff; cover workplace safety topics.
• Keep daily records of security-related incidents.
