Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor for the 2pm-10pm swing shift in Chesapeake, VA. The role supervises security staff on the client site and coordinates services, acting as liaison with the Account Manager and Field Operations Manager.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or 5 years of verifiable experience, strong written/verbal communication, report writing, and crisis-management skills. A driving record check may apply.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience.
• Must have effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills; professional with the public.
• Must be able to prepare written reports and logs.
• Must read and understand operating procedures.
• Background check and drug/alcohol test may be required.
• Driver’s license with valid record for driving positions.
• Intermediate computer skills to utilize technology at client sites.
• Ability to handle both common and crisis situations with calm efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality security services on the assigned shift.
• Serve as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager and Field Operations Manager.
• Supervise staff on the assigned shift and provide coaching, recognition and discipline within policy.
• Maintain professional relationships with client personnel and guests.
• Prepare reports and logs in a clear, legible manner.
