Job summary

GEO Corrections & Detentions is looking for a Shift Supervisor to oversee security operations at their facility in Sanderson, Florida. The Supervisor will ensure proper detainee supervision and staff coordination while maintaining records and reports essential for operational success.

The ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience in detention and two years in supervisory roles. Responsibilities include policy implementation, staff management, and ensuring a safe environment for detainees and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certification required.
• Must be at least nineteen (19) years old.
• Minimum one (1) year of experience as a detention officer.

Responsibilities

• Supervise security/control activities and staff.
• Implement policies and procedures for detainee custody.
• Review staff performance and conduct inspections.
