Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year experience as a detention officer; two years in field supervision preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise security/control activities and staff in an assigned area.
• Develop and implement custody, security, and/or treatment policies and procedures.
• Respond to unusual occurrences and provide prompt assistance to detainees.
• Direct work, hire, train, and evaluate staff; assign post orders and ensure procedures are trained.
• Prepare records and reports; maintain daily logs and facility compliance.
