Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to oversee Security Officers and ensure that post orders are followed, rounds completed, and reports filed with timely notification in emergencies.

The role requires a Delaware State Guard Card with prior security leadership experience, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 2 years in related fields. Strong supervision, coaching, and customer service are essential for this on-site position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 2 years related experience.
• Delaware State Guard Card required with previous security leadership experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in retail preferred.
• Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures.
• Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance.
• Ability to adapt to various sites and changes in post procedures.
• Good organizational skills and strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers and other personnel, ensure post orders followed and reports filed.
• Coach, discipline, and conduct performance reviews with staff.
• Train officers and review assignments with subordinates.
• Coordinate payroll submissions and ensure adequate post coverage.
• Meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met.
• Prepare and file reports and inspect posts as scheduled.
• Interview, orient, and train staff as needed; hire/terminate recommendations.
• May perform duties of a Security Officer as needed.
