Job summary

Securitas US Business Unit is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to lead security staff at client sites. The role focuses on enforcing post orders, completing rounds, and ensuring accurate reporting to meet client expectations.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of supervisory experience and proven security background. The position requires a High School diploma or GED and may involve coordinating shifts and coaching personnel.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of supervisor experience required.
• Security experience required.

Responsibilities

• Functions as a supervisor of Security Officers and other personnel on client site(s); ensures post orders are followed and rounds completed; reports filed; notifies authorities and client in emergencies.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel; meets with employees to document coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Trains Security Officers; reviews post orders and assignments with subordinates.
• Assists in submitting payroll and personnel information as designated.
• Ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions in coordination with management.
• Prepares and submits various reports; inspects posts and outlines tasks for subordinates.
• Meets with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and provide quality service.
• Performs supervisory duties including interviewing, orienting, training, planning, directing, coaching, and possibly hiring decisions.
• May perform Security Officer duties in line with post orders and policy.
