Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor in Wilmington, DE. The role requires guiding security officers, ensuring post orders are followed, and maintaining client-focused security services on site.

The ideal candidate has high school education with 2 years of related security leadership experience and a Delaware State Guard Card. You will mentor staff, review assignments, coordinate with management, and support payroll and reporting tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of related security leadership experience; equivalent combination considered.
• Delaware Guard Card required with previous security leadership experience.
• Knowledge of security operations, patrol, inspection and response services.
• Ability to coach, discipline and motivate staff; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers, Lead Officers and on-site personnel across client posts.
• Ensure post orders are followed, rounds completed, and reports filed; notify authorities and client in emergencies.
• Coach and document coaching and disciplinary actions; meet with employees regularly.
• Train Officers and review post orders with team.
• Assist in payroll/submission of personnel information.
• Ensure adequate coverage of all posts and prepare/analyze reports as required.
• Meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met.
• Interviewing, orienting and training staff; planning, assigning and directing work.
• May perform duties of Security Officer as needed.
