Johnson Controls in Appleton, WI is seeking a Commercial Service Technician to troubleshoot and service security systems, including burglar and fire alarms, CCTV, and card access. You will be set up with tools to work independently from a remote location and provide top-tier service to customers.

The role requires 3–4 years' experience with fire/burglar alarm systems, Card Access/CCTV/IP cameras, and a strong electrical/technical background. A valid driver’s license is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3-4 years’ experience installing and inspecting/repairing fire or burglar alarms.
• Experience with Card Access/CCTV/IP cameras.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Electrical/Electronic background.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service security systems. Alleviate customer concerns during service.
• Repair or replace burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, Card Access, and other security equipment.
• Work independently from a remote location with provided tools and equipment.
• Provide the highest level of service to resolve building inefficiencies and service-related items.
• Act as a trusted advisor by delivering solutions and outcomes at the time of service.
