Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Commercial Service Technician to troubleshoot and service security systems across customers in Illinois. You will repair or replace burglar and fire alarms, CCTV, and Card Access systems, and coordinate with local agencies when needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3-4 years' experience installing and inspecting/repairing Tyco Integrated Security or comparable product line.
• Experience with Card Access/CCTV/IP cameras; strong communication skills; valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service security systems to alleviate customer concerns.
• Repair or replace burglar alarms, fire alarms, CCTV, and Card Access systems.
• Coordinate inspections and installations with police, fire departments, or other agencies.
• Provide quotes to support recommendations and upsell opportunities.
