Job summary

Johnson Controls in Appleton, WI is seeking a Security Service Technician to troubleshoot and service commercial security systems, including fire alarms, CCTV, and access controls. You will diagnose issues, repair or replace components, and coordinate inspections with local authorities when needed, delivering reliable protection for customers.

You will document work orders and provide clear status updates to customers and the care center.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3–4 years’ experience installing and inspecting/repairing fire or burglar alarms.
• Experience with Card Access/CCTV/IP cameras.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and service commercial security/Fire Alarm/CCTV/Card Access systems.
• Locate and alleviate trouble with damaged equipment or wiring; readjust equipment, repair or replace inoperative equipment and test for operation.
• Provide quotes to support recommendations and upsell where appropriate.
