Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Service Technician to join a dynamic team in a culture that values growth and excellence. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain security and building automation systems, install projects, and provide top-tier customer service with after-hours support as needed.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety compliance, and accurate reporting to support invoicing and cost tracking, enabling you to grow with a leading global security integrator.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused with ability to work under pressure.
• Technical skills related to building automation, fire alarm, and electronic security systems.
• Ability to develop basic programming skills and troubleshoot problems.
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with common tools.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and some non-routine service calls, maintenance calls, and after-hours service requests; diagnose, repair, replace defective parts, and debug systems.
• Install projects as necessary and ensure accurate service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Perform preventative maintenance on installed systems and assist with small projects.
• Coordinate with team members to improve operations and cross-train on servicing existing customers.
