Job summary

Convergint is seeking a Security Service Technician 2 for Appleton/Oshkosh, WI to join our growing team. The role focuses on servicing and supporting customers through calls, maintenance, and small projects while upholding Convergint’s customer-first culture.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years of experience with access control or electronic security systems, solid troubleshooting skills, and a valid driver's license. Local travel is required; benefits include competitive pay and company support.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing, integrating, and programming access control systems.
• Minimum 3–5 years in related field.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to travel locally to jobsites.
• Experience with fire alarm or security systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to routine and after-hours service calls and maintenance; diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair systems.
• Install projects as necessary and replace defective parts.
• Complete accurate service reports for invoicing and cost tracking.
• Cross-train with other specialists and support small projects.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and regulatory requirements.
