Convergint is seeking a full-time Security Technician to install, program, start-up, certify, and train customers on assigned projects, including small or less complex jobs. You will be part of a team that values growth, integrity, and a can-do culture.

Qualifications

• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure.
• Willing to learn technical skills related to fire alarm and electronic security systems.
• Self-starter and able to work with direct supervision.
• Solid mechanical and electrical aptitude with basic hand/power tools.
• Valid driver''s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to travel locally to jobsites on a regular basis.

Responsibilities

• Install, program, test, repair, and service security, fire alarm, life safety, and building automation systems.
• Provide technical support and training to customers.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams for installations.
• Perform system start-up, certification testing, and customer training.
