Job summary

Palantir is seeking a Technical Program Manager, Security to lead security engineering initiatives and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver secure software.

You will partner with security engineers to drive programs, track projects, and remove roadblocks so engineers can focus on core security problems. This role emphasizes collaboration, governance, and rapid iteration across security and product teams.

Qualifications

• Experience managing security or software development programs for an enterprise software company.
• Ability to discuss technical topics including threat detection, vulnerability management, incident response, and cloud security.
• Excellent judgment and composure in high-pressure situations, including during active security incidents.
• Creative approach to program management centered around lightweight frameworks for rapid iteration.
• Ability to develop strong relationships with security teams and customer-facing stakeholders.
• Meticulous attention to detail with focus on security and product quality.
• Proven track record of building and scaling security programs from the ground up.
• Relevant technical background in security or software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Palantir security engineers, infrastructure teams, product managers, and legal to drive key security deliverables through the full software development and security lifecycle.
• Synthesize security goals from product and threat landscape vision and map them to granular tasks.
• Maintain complete state of projects, including vulnerability timelines and incident response obligations.
• Improve cross-team collaboration across security engineering, IT, legal, and customer-facing teams.
• Design, document, and improve security processes and frameworks to scale programs.
• Drive incident response coordination with clear ownership and post-incident reviews.
• Work with customer-facing engineering teams on adoption and support of security features and certifications.
