Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage complex security or software programs.
• Experience engaging in threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Ability to align security goals with product and threat landscape vision.
• Strong judgment and composure under high-pressure security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Palantir security engineers, infrastructure teams, product managers, and legal to drive security deliverables through the software development lifecycle.
• Synthesize security goals from product vision and map to team tasks and issues.
• Triage requests from the field to create focus and escalate critical items.
• Maintain complete state of projects including remediation timelines, incident obligations, and detection gaps.
• Pre-empt and resolve issues that derail projects.
• Enhance cross-team collaboration across security, IT, legal, and customer-facing teams.
• Read a room of technical experts to align around shared objectives.
• Improve efficiency by addressing miscommunication or coordination gaps.
• Design and improve security processes and frameworks to scale programs.
• Drive incident response coordination with clear ownership and post-incident reviews.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams on adoption and support of security features and certifications.
