As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Luxury Apartments in Costa Mesa, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support residents with outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

• Thur: 07:00 PM - 03:30 AM
• Fri: 07:00 PM - 03:30 AM
• Sat: 07:00 PM - 03:30 AM
• Sun: 07:00 PM - 03:30 AM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out site‑specific procedures, community policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related issues to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and/or perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, amenities, and/or property areas in support of community rules, helping to address disturbances, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations with professionalism and courtesy.
• Communicate with property management, residents, and/or first responders as needed regarding incidents, maintenance‑related concerns, and/or other security‑related matters at the location.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 6 months of security‑related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
