Job summary

Allied Universal in Orange, CA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Driver for a luxury apartment community. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access, provide professional customer service, and respond to incidents.

This overnight position requires a valid driver’s license, at least six months in security, and ability to work nights; CPR/First Aid preferred. Allied Universal offers smart tools, career growth, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of residential buildings, parking areas, and perimeters to identify hazards or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents and resident concerns calmly and professionally, following site procedures.
• Monitor access points and document observations, relaying information to site management.
• Help maintain a welcoming environment through professional interactions and adherence to site requirements.

Position Type: Full Time / Overnight Shift

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue: 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri: 05:00 PM - 01:30 AM
• Sat: 05:00 PM - 01:30 AM
• Sun: 05:00 PM - 01:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, document observations and incidents, and communicate relevant information to site management and/or appropriate personnel.
• Help maintain a welcoming residential environment through professional interactions, clear communication, and adherence to Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
