Job summary

Allied Universal in Irvine, CA is seeking a Security Officer Driver Patrol to protect residents and property across a residential community. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide responsive customer service while maintaining a professional presence.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, security experience, and comfort with technology; CPR/First Aid is preferred. This is a full-time, hourly position with evenings and weekends included.

Qualifications

• Requires valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• At least six months in security or related field.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking, and perimeters to identify issues.
• Respond calmly to incidents and concerns, solving problems as they arise.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per property procedures and report suspicious activity.
• Prepare detailed activity reports and communicate observations to site management.

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a residential community, you will drive patrol routes, monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support residents and visitors with exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.25 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and property staff while carrying out site-specific policies, procedures, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and property perimeters to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with property procedures, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate security-related observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least six months of security-related experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
