Job summary

Epic Hosting is seeking a Security Operations Technician to join the SOC team in Madison, WI. You will identify security events, coordinate investigations, and drive long-term improvements for Epic's SaaS infrastructure serving major healthcare clients.

You will stay current with threats, participate in security solution implementations, and support relocation to the Madison area with reimbursed relocation.

Qualifications

• Must understand enterprise firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, application whitelisting, and data loss prevention.
• Experience with log analysis, security monitoring, and SOC operations.

Responsibilities

• Identify security events and coordinate investigation and response across teams.
• Suggest long-term process improvements and stay ahead of emerging threats.
• Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Epic Hosting services.
