Job summary

Epic Hosting is seeking a Security Operations Technician to join the SOC team protecting its SaaS infrastructure for major healthcare clients. You will identify security events, coordinate cross-team investigations, and drive long-term improvements while staying ahead of threats. The role includes relocation to the Madison, WI area and eligibility to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, application whitelisting and DLP.
• Background in log analysis, monitoring, auditing, or SOC work.
• Security certifications are a plus (GSEC, SSCP, ECSA, Security+).
• Scripting (PowerShell) helpful; knowledge of AD and access management is a plus.
• Willingness to relocate to Madison, WI; eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Identify security events and coordinate investigations across teams.
• Recommend and implement long-term security process improvements.
• Escalate potential incidents and ensure proper information is shared.
