Job summary

Epic Hosting is seeking a Security Operations Technician to join our SOC team and secure Epic's SaaS infrastructure for major healthcare clients. You will identify security events, coordinate investigations across teams, and push for long-term process improvements while staying ahead of emerging threats.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with enterprise firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, app whitelisting and DLP.
• Knowledge of log analysis, monitoring and auditing in security operations centers.
• Security certifications such as SANS/GIAC GSEC, ISC2 SSCP, EC-Council ECSA, CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
• PowerShell scripting ability is helpful.
• Experience with access management, Active Directory, and physical security is a plus.
• Familiarity with SIEM, MFA and ITIL tools is useful.
• Relocation to the Madison, WI area (reimbursed) is available.
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Availabilty for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.
