Job summary

Epic Hosting is seeking a Security Operations Technician to join the SOC team responsible for protecting Epic's SaaS infrastructure for major healthcare clients. You will identify events, coordinate investigation and drive long-term security improvements while staying current with emerging threats.

Relocation to Madison, WI is reimbursed. The role emphasizes proactive analysis, cross-team collaboration, and implementing security controls to safeguard confidentiality, integrity, and availability

Qualifications

• Familiarity with enterprise firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, app whitelisting and DLP.
• Experience with log analysis, monitoring and auditing in security operations centers.
• Security certifications are a plus (GSEC, SSCP, ECSA, Security+).
• Knowledge of scripting (PowerShell) and AD/physical security is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Identify security events and coordinate investigation across teams.
• Recommend and implement long-term security process improvements.
• Escalate security incidents and provide relevant information per policy.
