Job summary

Epic Hosting is seeking a Security Operations Technician to join the SOC team protecting Epic's SaaS infrastructure for major healthcare clients. You will detect security events, coordinate investigations, and implement long-term security improvements.

You will stay current with threats and contribute to new information security solutions. You will work on a modern campus environment near Madison, WI, with a focus on confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Epic Hosting.

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations centers or SOC environments.
• Familiarity with enterprise firewalls and IDS/IPS.
• Knowledge of SIEM, MFA, and ITIL-like processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Epic Hosting services.
• Escalate security incidents and provide relevant information to incident response teams.
• Adhere to policies, perform investigations, and drive improvements to security processes.
