Job summary

Epic Hosting is seeking a Security Operations Technician to join the SOC team securing Epic's SaaS infrastructure for major healthcare customers. You will identify security events and coordinate investigations across teams, using critical thinking to drive long-term improvements.

Based on our Madison, WI campus, relocation assistance is provided; you will be eligible for annual raises, bonuses, and stock grants as part of Epic's comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in security operations and SOC environments.
• Familiarity with firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, DLP and log analysis.
• Knowledge of SIEM, MFA and ITIL-related tooling.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting.
• Exposure to Active Directory and access management is a plus.
• Ability to work across shifts including 1st/2nd/3rd
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Identify security events and coordinate investigation and response across multiple teams.
• Propose long-term process improvements to security operations.
• Stay current on emerging threats and recommend new security solutions.
• Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Epic Hosting.
