Job summary

Epic Hosting is seeking a Security Operations Technician to join the SOC team protecting Epic's SaaS infrastructure for major healthcare clients. You will identify security events, coordinate investigations across teams, and push for long-term process improvements while keeping pace with emerging threats.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with enterprise firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, app whitelisting, and DLP.
• Experience in log analysis and monitoring in a security operations center environment.
• Certifications such as SANS/GIAC GSEC, ISC2 SSCP, EC-Council ECSA, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify security events in the environment and coordinate investigation across teams.
• Propose long-term security process improvements and best practices.
• Stay current on emerging threats and implement related information security solutions.
