Job summary

First Coast Security seeks a Security Operations Supervisor (SOS) to join a new Beaver Dam site, overseeing daily security operations at a data center and guiding a developing team. This leadership role demands hands-on supervision, incident response, and adherence to global standards.

As SOS, you will coordinate shifts, report to the Site Security Operations Manager, and partner with the Training Coordinator to implement security initiatives while fostering a culture of integrity,

Qualifications

• Wisconsin security permit required.
• Experience leading security teams in critical environments.
• Ability to work on-site at Beaver Dam facility.

Responsibilities

• Foster a culture of excellence in security and lead by example.
• Provide operational reports to site security management.
• Oversee daily and weekly shift updates and training.
• Lead and support the security team during operations and incidents.
• Ensure all posts are manned according to global standards.
• Collaborate with Training Coordinator and SOM on security initiatives.
• Oversee handover processes for operational effectiveness.
• Coordinate with data center security team as needed.

Overview

Security Operations Supervisor (SOS) Role Overview

The Security Operations Supervisor (SOS) plays a vital role in ensuringthe dailysupervision at the Data Center. The SOSis responsible foroverseeing tasks and activities, as directed by the site Security Operations Manager (SOM).

Key Responsibilities

• Foster a culture of excellence in security, leading by example and settinghigh standards
• Provide operational reports to site security management as requested or on a routine basis
• Track and report daily and weekly shift updates, includingsignificant events, team meetings, and training completed
• Lead and support the security team during operations, incident escalation, and response
• Ensure all security posts aremannedaccording to global standards
• Provide support and relief to posts as needed
• Oversee vendor Post Orders (POs) and ensure compliance with client requirements
• Report, elevate, and manage incidents, emergencies, and site issuesin accordance withclient global standards
• Collaborate with the site Training Coordinator (TC) and SOM to provide up-to-date initiatives based on training needs analysis
• Oversee documented shift handover processes for operational effectiveness
• Act as a liaison between site security management and the data center security team whenrequired
• Ensure uniformed security personnel adhere to global standards
• Identifyopportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance security operations
• Provide feedback and coaching to security personnel to enhance performance
• Develop and implement strategies to improve staff engagement and motivation
• Complete other tasks, projects, and administrative duties as assigned by the SOM or Client
