Job summary

First Coast Security (FCS) seeks an Unarmed Security Officer to monitor entrances, complete patrols, assist visitors, and respond to safety concerns on site.

You’ll receive comprehensive training to obtain CPR certification, with hands-on, on-the-job learning, and the chance to grow within a supportive, team-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain a First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening, driving record check and background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patrols and monitor all access points, interior and exterior
• Stand guard at assigned posts to maintain visibility and ensure site security
• Observe and report hazards or suspicious activity and complete daily logs and incident reports
• Responding quickly to emergencies or threats
• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors
• Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to obtain a First Aid/CPR/AED certification

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• proficient English language communication, reading, and writingskills
• Able to meet all physical demands, including occasional lifting (up to 40 lbs.), and performing tasks such as bending, climbing, running, walking, and standing for long periods of time as needed
• Previous security, customer service, military, or law enforcement experience is helpful but not required
