Job summary

Sunstates Security is seeking an Operations Manager to lead multiple Cincinnati-area accounts, mentoring site security staff and maintaining strong customer relationships. The role focuses on supervision, onboarding, training, and day-to-day operational oversight to ensure service excellence.

The candidate will coordinate payroll and billing, ensure policy compliance, and collaborate with regional leadership to set goals and pursue new business opportunities within a proactive security partner

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 3+ years in security supervisory roles.
• Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to obtain security officer licenses in applicable areas.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Office.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate supervisory staff to oversee day-to-day site security operations.
• Oversee onboarding, hiring, training, licensure, and paperwork for new hires.
• Train supervisors on software, procedures, and company policies; ensure policy adherence.
• Coordinate payroll, billing, accounts receivable, staffing, scheduling, and personnel issues.
• Conduct site visits and audits per Quality Assurance program.
• Collaborate with Regional Manager/Director to set branch goals and share with staff.
• Work with Sales/Marketing to identify and develop new business opportunities.

Sunstates Security has an immediate opening for a talented and motivated Operations Manager to manage multiple accounts in the Cincinnati, OH area. The ideal candidate will provide leadership to employees and develop and maintain strong relationships with customers.

This position offers a full compensation package of over $74,000- which includes --

• Annual performance-based bonus - up to 10% of base salary

The Operations Manager will assist in the administration of the region by:

• Training, developing, and motivating supervisory staff to effectively oversee all day-to-day operations of the site security personnel.
• Overseeing the employee onboarding process including new hire interviewing, selection of candidates, training and licensure, and new hire paperwork.
• Training subordinate supervisors on software systems, procedural guidelines, and company policies and enforcing consistency in policy practice.
• Coordinating operational functions including payroll and billing, accounts receivable aging, staffing, scheduling, and personnel issues.
• Carrying out site assist visits and audits in accordance with the Quality Assurance program.
• Coordinating with Regional Manager and Regional Director to establish branch goals and objectives and communicate these with branch staff.
• Working with sales and marketing to identify and develop new business opportunities.

The requirements for the Operations Manager include:

• Bachelor's degree from a four (4) year college or university and three (3) or more years of related experience and supervision in the security industry.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, communication, and time management skills.
• Ability to qualify and be issued a security officer license in all areas under command.
• Computer literacy in MS Office.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
