Job summary

Allied Universal in Florida is seeking an Operations Manager to lead security services across client sites. The role oversees frontline hiring, staffing, scheduling, training, and compliance, while serving as a key escalation point for employees and clients.

This position emphasizes high-quality service, workforce stability, and proactive performance management, with a focus on maintaining staffing levels and strong client relations to ensure contract adherence.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Current driver’s license if driving a company vehicle, or personal vehicle in the course of conducting business.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• Minimum of three years of leadership experience in a high-volume workforce environment.
• Work experience in building and developing teams.
• Leadership skills fostering teamwork, innovation, agility, client relations and achieving results.
• Proficiency in web-based applications and MS Office and BI tools for metrics analysis.
• Dynamic networking skills and commitment to safety and trust.
• Understanding of budgeting and financial reporting; ability to interpret simple financial data.

Responsibilities

• Manage the selection and placement process for new security professionals and develop plans.
• Make initial job offers and transfers using company procedures; publish weekly openings.
• Create and manage post schedules in WinTeam; ensure coverage and proper staffing.
• Maintain staffing per contract and manage overtime; keep a pool of flex personnel.
• Maintain proactive contact with staff; review No Hours Report weekly; address hours.
