Job summary

People Inc. is seeking a Security Operations Supervisor to lead daily enterprise security operations in a hands-on, uniformed role. You will work with in-house and contracted security across reception, patrols, events, and incident response, reporting to Security Management.

The ideal candidate will have five+ years in security, strong leadership, and the ability to coordinate with executives, vendors, and public safety agencies. This is an in-office role in New York.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of progressively responsible security experience.
• Experience directing personnel or operations during incidents or events.
• Hands-on, uniformed operational leadership preferred over administrative roles.
• Ability to make timely, defensible decisions under pressure.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Working knowledge of access control, CCTV, alarm monitoring, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible, hands-on operational leadership alongside security personnel.
• Coordinate reception, patrols, events, and contracted staff during shifts.
• Ensure post orders, access-control, and service standards are followed.
• Direct field response during incidents and coordinate with GSOC.
• Coordinate with law enforcement, fire, EMS, and property management as needed.
• Coach and mentor security staff; provide performance feedback.
