Job summary

Security Industry Specialists, Inc. in New York City is seeking an Operations Manager to lead physical security, safety, executive protection, and risk management programs in alignment with client policies.

You will partner with the client Global Safety & Security team and SIS leadership to design and manage programs, ensuring effective incident response and service delivery. The role requires 5+ years in safety/security management, CPP/PSP certification, and proficiency with Lenel/Salesforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, emergency management, business management, or related discipline or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in safety and security management or supervision, law enforcement or military, or security control room supervision.
• ASIS CPP and/or Physical Security Professional (PSP).
• Proficient in PC and iOS hardware and software, including Lenel and Salesforce.
• Complete and maintain state guard certification as prescribed by state law; required by client.
• Must be a dependable team player with strong customer service and flexibility to work any shift (Mon-Sun).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and manage physical security operations for the client including post orders, standards, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate with client Global Safety & Security management team and SIS Executive team on all aspects of security and risk programs.
• Manage operations at local client campus including budget management, performance metrics and contract management.
• Identify areas for program improvements and service expansions; enhance customer service.
• Create measurable reporting for alarm monitoring, incidents, and performance metrics.
• Respond promptly to emergent events, staffing issues, and client requests.
• Perform other related duties as required.
