Job summary

People Inc. in New York is seeking an experienced Security Operations Supervisor to lead daily enterprise security operations, coordinating with in-house and contracted staff across reception, patrol, events, and incident response.

Reporting to Security Management, you will direct field response, work with the GSOC, and ensure safety protocols are followed in a fast-paced environment. The role requires calm, decisive leadership, collaboration with executives, vendors and public safety agencies,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in security related field.
• Minimum of five years in law enforcement, military, public safety, corporate security, or related area.
• Ability to lead hands-on, uniformed operations and make timely, defensible decisions.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible, hands-on operational leadership across reception, patrol, event security and contracts.
• Direct field response during incidents; coordinate with GSOC, law enforcement, and emergency services.
• Coordinate with GSOC monitoring and enterprise communications; ensure incident documentation.
• Oversee access control, visitor management, CCTV, alarm response, and inspections.
• Coach and mentor staff; manage shift coverage and daily assignments.
