Job summary

DK Security is seeking qualified professionals to join our Central Control team, the Security Operations Center supporting State of Michigan facilities. Operators work with State personnel and report to Central Control leadership to provide exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must pass a drug screening at hire and randomly thereafter (including marijuana).
• Must not have felony convictions per state law.
• Must pass background checks and meet MCL requirements mentioned in job posting.
• Must be able to sit, stand, and walk 8–12 hours and lift at least 50 lbs.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (or willingness to become certified).
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
• Intermediate computer skills – Microsoft Office, Email, Internet.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process emergency information and requests (medical, threats, suspicious activity, weather, etc).
• Initiate emergency response efforts based on available information and procedures.
• Coordinate response with law enforcement, dispatchers, fire fighters, medics, and facilities staff.
• Draft and send emergency communications and after-action reports.
• Utilize security systems to monitor and facilitate emergency response.
• Other duties as assigned.
