DK Security, Inc is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager for Southeast Michigan to support the Operations Department with leadership and managing contracts and security staff.

The role includes scheduling, payroll duties, site visits, and preparation of site reports, with a clear path to groom into an Operations Manager position. It’s a full-time, first-shift role offering strong benefits and career growth within a growing Michigan company.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice or Business Administration strongly preferred.
• Must pass a drug test at hire and randomly thereafter.
• Minimum 1 year experience as security officer or supervisor desirable.
• Must obtain CPL within 90 days of hire.
• Must adhere to appearance and grooming policy.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scheduling for all contract or temporary security assignments.
• Assist with overall management of temporary security assignments, including setup and site visits.
• Assist with payroll processes for assignments.
• Conduct weekly afterhours site visits and prepare site visit reports.
• Train as Uniform Security Officer at multiple contract locations.
• Provide back-up for other Operations Managers as needed.
• Participate in staff meetings and briefing on assignments.
