Job summary

DK Security in Michigan is seeking an Operations Manager to lead contract security programs across the Southeast Michigan region, including Troy, with oversight of Supervisors and Security Officers and a focus on maintaining client relationships and policy compliance. The role requires strong leadership, flexible scheduling, travel, and the ability to work in the field.

A CPL is required, CPR/First Aid training is preferred and reports to the VP of Operations.

Qualifications

• Requires leadership or supervisory experience and strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Flexible schedule with light traveling within the region and field work.
• Concealed Pistols License (CPL) required; CPR/First Aid readiness and training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contract Management: lead Supervisors and Security Officers, maintain client relationships and enforce policy.
• Oversee client contact and assigned operations manager relationships.
• Ensure site visits are completed; outfit employees in a timely manner; maintain positive employee relations.
• Implement progressive disciplinary actions per policy with HR consultation.
• Foster client relations and ensure ongoing communication with contacts.
• Billable: work on average 16 hours per week in a billable capacity.
• Oversee temporary accounts and ensure MOUs and post guidelines are communicated to staff.
