Allied Universal in Melrose Park, IL is seeking a Security Officer for full-time unarmed patrol vehicle operations at a manufacturing and industrial site. You will perform vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, and deliver excellent customer service.

This role requires a valid driver's license, high school diploma, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen. You will join a team focused on safety, reliability, and responsive incident handling.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Vehicle Operations in Melrose Park, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate clearly with team members and site personnel while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel at a manufacturing and industrial distribution location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and support visitor, contractor, and vehicle entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
