Qualifications

As a Security Officer Full Time Mobile Response Driver in University Park, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Driving Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. You will represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture, collaborating with teammates and acting with integrity in every interaction.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, loading zones, and the exterior perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with site procedures; assist with directing authorized individuals to appropriate locations.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and daily activity documentation, and communicate relevant observations to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
