Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Response in Normal, IL to safeguard clients at an automotive facility. You will perform vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver excellent customer service and communication.

Valid driver’s license required; unarmed roles require 18+ (21+ for armed). Expect background check and drug screen, CPR preferred, and ability to lift up to 20+ pounds. Full-time with day shifts is available.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.

As an Unarmed Security Officer at an automotive location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving role requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive facility.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating information according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, exterior perimeter, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access as directed, and maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
• Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a positive site environment.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
