Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driving Role Patrol in Melrose Park, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and incident reporting. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery documentation in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations accurately and completely using required reporting tools.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
