As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Routine Patrol in Boston, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol retail and financial institution locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to concerns, support a welcoming customer experience, and communicate clearly with visitors and team members. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $22.39 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Tue 11:00 AM - 08:00 PM
• Thur 09:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Fri 11:00 AM - 08:00 PM
• Sat 09:00 AM - 01:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, shoppers, visitors, and financial institution customers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail sales areas, banking locations, entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as required, and provide directions or assistance to guests while maintaining a professional presence.
• Document incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
