Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Boston, MA. This role offers reliable, fixed shifts with the option to pick up extra shifts via our scheduling platform.

You will provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees, conduct unarmed patrols, monitor access, respond to incidents, and complete logs. Minimum requirements include security experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security procedures and emergency responses.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entry points, parking areas, and facility perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting unusual conditions and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following site procedures.
• Complete activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Boston, MA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $25.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of banking areas, entry points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and notifying emergency services when needed.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
