Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer Patrol in Boston, MA to monitor and protect a financial institution and other client sites. You’ll patrol interior and exterior areas, maintain a visible presence, manage access control, and assist employees with professional customer service.

The role supports a flexible schedule with shift options and responsive incident handling. This position requires at least two years in security, and CPR is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of security-related experience required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial services location.

• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of interior and perimeter areas to deter unauthorized activity.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and assist employees and visitors with professional communication and customer service. Pay Rate: $22.05 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial services location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, entry points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and emergency responders while supporting a professional and welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
