Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Unarmed - Property Access in Brunswick, GA. The role involves patrolling, maintaining a visible presence, and ensuring safety while delivering excellent customer service to personnel and visitors.

You will monitor access points, verify credentials, and respond to incidents, with a focus on teamwork, reliability, and communication to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Must be 18+ (21+ for armed roles) and able to pass background/drug tests.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, drivers, and vendors while following site policies.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of vehicle storage areas, processing locations, access points, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials, and report unusual conditions or violations.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify appropriate site contacts or emergency services.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols and incidents.

Security Officer Unarmed - Property Access (Brunswick, GA)

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.42 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, drivers, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of vehicle storage areas, processing locations, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
