Allied Universal in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol. This role offers flexibility with a fixed shift plus the option to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform, increasing earnings and experience across sites.

You will provide customer service, patrol assigned areas, monitor access, and respond to incidents while maintaining logs and reports. The position requires a high school diploma and security experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Reporting in Atlanta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Saturday: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial office building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and vendor activity, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency procedures and documenting events as required.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation while providing professional, courteous interactions throughout the property.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
