Job summary

Allied Universal in Brunswick, GA is seeking a part-time Security Officer Access Control to protect client sites across logistics and distribution. You’ll monitor access, deliver customer service, and help deter security incidents as part of a dynamic team.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, conducting patrols, and enforcing site policies while maintaining a professional presence. A TSA TWIC and valid guard card are preferred; CPR and badge experience are assets.

Qualifications

• Must have TSA-issued TWIC or be eligible.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, warehouse perimeters, parking areas, entry points, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by observing personnel, visitors, drivers, and deliveries, and report unusual activity or policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
