Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Field Patrol in West Point, GA. This part-time role covers unarmed patrols at automotive locations, providing customer service and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

You will monitor entrances, respond to incidents, complete reports, and adhere to site procedures. Schedule is Sat-Sun 5pm-5am; pay rate is $16.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an automotive location.
• Respond to incidents, vehicle-related concerns, access-control issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, vehicle storage areas, loading zones, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor access according to site procedures, and report unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
