Allied Universal is hiring a part-time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Brunswick, GA. You will protect clients across logistics, distribution, and other sites while delivering high-quality customer service and maintaining a visible, reassuring presence.

Role requires patrols, access control, and reporting of incidents, with a focus on safety and professionalism. A TSA TWIC and other credentials may be preferred; salary is hourly with shift-based scheduling.

Qualifications

• TSA-issued TWIC required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per laws.
• Criminal history considered per laws.
• Drug screening as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver’s license required only for driving roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly and escalate per site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of loading areas, warehouses, parking areas, entry points and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; document arrivals and incidents.
• Prepare and share detailed activity reports and incident documentation with leadership.

As a Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and deliver outstanding customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and/or employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, delivery‑related issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, warehouses, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and vehicle traffic; verify credentials and document arrivals, departures, and incidents in accordance with site policies.
• Complete detailed activity reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA‑issued TWIC.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
