As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Customer Support in Allen, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic retail location. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, assist visitors and employees, and provide outstanding customer service. Use computer or tablet systems to document security-related activities and communicate observations. Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail and mall locations, including sales areas, common areas, entrances, exits, loading areas, and perimeter spaces.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and delivery activity to help deter unauthorized access and support site policies.
• Document incidents, hazards, suspicious activity, and other security-related observations in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
