Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a part-time Unarmed Security Officer in Allen, TX. You will patrol, monitor, and assist visitors while maintaining a visible security presence and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, shoppers, and visitors while following site-specific procedures and security policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, storefront perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation per site procedures.

As an Unarmed Security Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. You will communicate professionally with visitors and staff, use computer or tablet tools as needed, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, tenants, shoppers, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, storefront perimeters, parking areas, and other assigned locations.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
