Allied Universal in Allen, TX is hiring a Full Time Unarmed Security Officer to monitor and protect client sites across technology, media, and telecom locations. You will maintain a visible presence, perform access control, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and calm problem solving, with a schedule that includes weekday and weekend shifts and a pay rate of $22.15 per hour.

Qualificações

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, data center areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and assist with directing authorized personnel and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
